Supervision built on the premise that you deserve better.
Most supervisors are stretched thin, double-booked, and treating fieldwork hours like a checkbox. Actually Supervised exists because that's not good enough — not for you, not for the kids you'll eventually serve.

Meet your supervisor
Lacey L. Weber, MS, BCBA, LBA
I've been a BCBA for over a decade, and I've watched too many talented trainees get stuck with supervisors who cancel constantly, give vague feedback, and sign off on hours without ever really engaging. It's a systemic problem — and it produces mediocre clinicians.
Actually Supervised is my answer to that. Small caseload. Real feedback. Consistent meetings. I'm not here to collect your supervision fees and disappear. I'm here because the quality of your training directly affects the quality of care autistic kids receive. That matters.
My background is in applied behavior analysis with a focus on early intervention and verbal behavior. I've supervised in clinic, school, and home settings. I know what good supervision looks like — and I know what it costs when it's done poorly.
I'm also a parent of a child diagnosed with autism. That's not a credential — it's context. It means I understand this work from both sides of the table, and it's a big part of why I take the quality of supervision so personally.
Philosophy
What good supervision actually looks like.
It's not complicated. Show up. Give real feedback. Be reachable. Know your supervisee's cases. Actually Supervised is built around those four things — because when supervision works, trainees become clinicians who can think, not just technicians who can follow a protocol.
Small caseload, on purpose.
I cap my supervisee roster so I can actually know your cases, your strengths, and where you're getting stuck. You're not a number.
Feedback that's actually useful.
Not 'good job' and a signature. Real, specific, behavior-analytic feedback tied to what you're doing in session — the kind that makes you better.
I don't cancel.
Supervision meetings are protected time. If something comes up on my end, I reschedule — not cancel. Your hours and your learning don't get deprioritized.
